To protect and promote the health of all people and resiliency of communities in FSM through coordination and implementation of effective and sustainable strategies, programs, projects and activities that improve safety and quality of food and drinking water, and reduce the adverse impacts of environmental conditions in partnership with State counterparts, taking into consideration resource availability and social and cultural factors.
By 2023, National and State environmental health programs will have strengthened their management capacity, technical expertise, infrastructure and resources, and will be actively collaborating to facilitate safe and healthy food, drinking water and living conditions.
